“For the Love of Music” gala will be hosted by comedian Anthony Oakes, and include musical performances by DC Grammy Chapter Governor and artist Deborah Bond, and the Washington Women in Jazz.

DCMS is seeking the support of the community to attend, sponsor, donate, and share news of this event aiming to grow and strengthen our music community by building sustainable infrastructure! DCMS is a Black woman-founded and led organization, a key detail fortifying its mission to include and uplift marginalized communities in the rapidly developing DC area. DC Music Summit (DCMS) recently finalized a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Their mission is to support the careers of local, independent musicians and creatives, especially people of color and women.
