- In Loving Memory of Helen Rose Sioris: Last year on May 14th, Helen Sioris transitioned to the spiritual world. At the time of her death, Ms. Helen had served for the President of the Church of the Holy City, which she attended for over 35 years. She gave generously in many ways to her church and to the wider community, with a special interest in animal welfare, having cared for a series of beloved cats. Until the last day of her life, she continued to participate actively in offering her advice and counsel on church matters. To the end, she smiled through her pain and delighted in the visits of her brother Jim and members of her church. She touched many with her kindnesses and will be greatly missed.
- Pastor Rich attended The National Council of Churches governing board retreat in Montgomery, Alabama in May. This meeting was planned with a focus on addressing racism. The Swedenborgian Church was well represented both in the retreat and board meeting.
